How often do you open up a tube of mascara and want to sniff it likes it’s your favorite candle? Maybe that’s an exaggeration, but this natural mascara from 100% Pure smells delightful (like blueberries). But smell is not the reason we use mascara, is it?
So how did this mascara actually apply and perform after a day of use?
I’ve used some bad natural mascaras before, so I was skeptical going in. But I have to admit, I was really impressed with the way this mascara applied. No clumps, good separation, and a natural look.
My lashes stayed soft to the touch.
By the end of the day there was some slight flaking, and by slight I mean maybe 2 tiny specks to wipe off my face. That’s a better track record than a lot of the drugstore mascaras I’ve used.
If you prefer crunchy lashes, or a mascara that REALLY makes it look like you’re wearing mascara, then I don’t think this product is for you. But if you like a natural, softer look, give this mascara a try. It’s pricey, but you’re doing something good for yourself and the environment sticking to natural products.
