Pacifica Devocean Lipstick in Rebel Sol – $14
Lipstick is one of those makeup items I always feel better about if I keep it as clean and natural as possible. Lipstick, lip gloss, & lip moisturizers seem like they’d end up ingested more, since you lick your lips and into your mouth they go. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but makes sense to me!
The Devocean lipstick line by Pacifica is formulated without lots of the additives and chemicals that health conscience girls tend to avoid nowadays: Animal ingredients, animal testing, FD&C colors, mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, petroleum, porpylene glycol, SLS, gluten, peanut oil, etc.
What the formula does contain (coconut oil, shea butter, jojoba, & vitamin E) creates a moisturizing lipstick with smooth application. The color pigment is fairly rich and can be applied in a single layer for more transparency, or layered up for a really saturated look.
I especially love the Rebel Sol color. It’s a coral that will work on so many skin tones, and really perfect to add a bit of color to summer makeup. A light application provides just enough color for a bright, fresh look. And as long as you don’t wipe it off, the color lasts for quite a while. Even when it starts to fade, it still remains pretty, and doesn’t look like the color soaked down into the cracks of your lips.
For a pretty summertime look, give this lipstick a try.
